Regardless of how interested (or uninterested) others may be, I think it's important to always show off photos of you and your hobbies. Several reasons! One - they're your hobbies, so you're the expert. Your laymen friends don't really know what goes on in that world. The rewards, the work, the laughs, the skill. Whatever it is that makes it special to you, they'll see that through some photos. They just might inspire someone. What are those stats - for every 100, there's one that sticks? Who cares if the first 10 people you talked to looked bored! That one person who thinks what you do is the bees knees will come along eventually and boy oh boy will they be worth it!
